PrAEctiCe signs MOU with FertiCovery project

On the 17th of November, PrAEctiCe and the FertiCovery project signed an agreement to work together in fostering sustainable agriculture.

The collaboration includes specific activities aimed at facilitating and supporting the exchange of knowledge and good practices, as well as dissemination and communication activities that can benefit both parties.

This collaboration also promotes the sharing of best practices and information about success stories with their wider networks and regions of operation through social media and other forms of wider communication, ensuring that the EU and African partners benefit from knowledge exchange.

The FertiCovery project aims to guide policymakers and stakeholders in adopting alternative fertilising products to balance nitrogen and phosphorus flows, enhance soil health, and maintain ecological sustainability at both regional and local levels. The project helps farmers and society benefit from the circular use of alternative fertilising products recovered from secondary raw materials, to lower environmental impacts on soil, water, and air quality, biodiversity, and climate

This agreement was signed by Margherita Trestini, General Manager, Apodissi Limited, on behalf of the PrAEctiCe project, and Martijn Vis, Senior Consultant, Coordinator FertiCovery project BTG Biomass Technology Group, on behalf of the FertiCovery project.

This partnership will not only strengthen capacity development but also reinforce a shared commitment to sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and food security for Africa’s future.
